Reiki is a form of energetic healing that uses the same healing channels that are used by acupuncture, acupressure, chi gong and other traditional Asian healing modalities.  Reiki helps to move and balance energy, remove blocks and helps restore wellbeing.

 

Reiki flows through the practitioner, but is not generated by the practitioner.  It works on all four energetic bodies – the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical.

 

It compliments other health care and medical treatments.  Reiki is not a religion and compliments any faith.  

       

Reiki increases the physical body’s ability to heal itself.  It is believed to bring about balance in the physical body’s organs and re-establish harmony in the system.  It helps to loosen up blocked energy.  Reiki can enhance all other forms of healing.  It reduces the extreme highs and lows of life if applied regularly.

 

Sometimes people have unrealistic expectations from Reiki.  Reiki does not confer an instant miraculous cure of any condition. It works with the energetic bodies to restore energetic balance.  This can take time.  An individual may receive great benefit from just a single treatment but conditions that have taken years to form and manifest as dis-ease are likely to require consistent treatment over a period of time.
